Walt Maige

Walt Maige, Co-Founder

With over 15 years of hands-on experience, Walt Maige serves as the on-site builder for Local Motion Design and Construction, ensuring every pool and spa is built with precision and care. Walt works directly with clients to design pools that fit their vision, lifestyle, and budget, overseeing every phase of construction from the ground up.

He personally manages the excavation, forming, plumbing, and tile work, and collaborates closely with trusted shotcrete, plaster, decking, and electrical partners to deliver a finished product that meets the highest standards. Throughout the build process, Walt is available to answer questions, discuss details, and ensure each project is completed to perfection.

Matt Knight

Matt Knight, Co-Founder

Matt Knight brings over 25 years of experience as a General Contractor, specializing in custom home and pool construction. At Local Motion Design and Construction, Matt oversees all estimating, plan development, permitting, and financial operations, ensuring each project is well-planned and smoothly executed from start to finish.

He is actively involved in the consultation process, guiding clients from initial concept through final design. Matt also manages pool engineering and prepares all required documentation for county approval, providing peace of mind throughout the process. Together with Walt, Matt is present to maintain quality control and support any project adjustments needed to make each pool truly perfect.
